CN Blue’s Kang Min Hyuk was decided to join the shooting of KBS’s new drama series, Unexpected You, as a younger brother character of actor Kim Nam Ju.
The KBS broadcasting network has announced on February 6 that in Unexpected You, expected first to air on February 25, Kang Min Hyuk plays Cha Se Gwang, a born womanizer and younger brother of Kim Nam Ju, one of the most popular Korean actresses. Cha Se Gwang is endowed with winning women’s hearts, regardless of women’s ages. However, he also is a person who lives by loyalty, always dashing out to friends in need.
The combination of Kang and Kim Nam Ju as a brother and a sister is raising expectations among would-be viewers. In the series, Se Gwang, played by Kang Min Hyuk, isn’t afraid of any women in the world except his older sister Yoon Hee, played by Kim Nam Ju. That’s why such a special relationship of theirs is highly expected to give a pleasure to viewers.
A representative from the production company of Unexpected You says, “It’s right that Cha Se Gwang is a cheerful, charismatic womanizer, but he is an attractive guy of loyalty. We thought that Kang Min Hyuk, who a singer but with a proven acting career, is well fit for the Se Gwang character.”
In the series, Cha Yoon Hee, played by Kim Nam Ju, ties the knot with a good-looking competent surgeon Bang Gwi Nam, played by Yoo Jun Sang.
