T-ara’s Hyomin has attracted attention by suddenly having a serious look on her face on Inkigayo, which was T-ara’s first TV music program to appear in 2012.
Hyomin suddenly got surprised while performing “Cry Cry” with other T-ara members on SBS TV’s Inkigayo, which was broadcast live on January 1. Her serious look was captured by the camera, and some of the audience were wondering if there was an incident during the live performance.
On January 2, Core Contents Media, T-ara’s agency, announced that Hyomin had a serious look on her face because of her concern for Jiyeon.
A spokesperson for Core Contents Media said, “Hyomin was well aware of that Jiyeon was tired because of several music festivals at the end of last year and her new drama series, KBS TV’s Dream High 2. She made the look because she thought Jiyeon was collapsing during the ‘Cry Cry’ performance.”
Indeed, during the rehearsal for Inkigayo, Jiyeon suddently said she was tired and went to a nearby hospital to get an IV injection. Because of this, she couldn’t appear on the stage when T-ara performed “We Were In Love” with Davichi because the performance was recorded before the live broadcast. However, Jiyeon showed her will to perform “Cry Cry” and finally appeared on the stage, which was broadcast live.
The spokesperson said, “Jiyeon didn’t feel very well but said she would still perform on the stage. However, Hyomin was worried about her as a former leader and her roommate and kept an eye on her on the stage.”
Jiyeon is currently filming Dream High 2 and going to release T-ara’s new song, “Lovey Dovey,” on January 2.
